Kevin Quinn talks about his new single ‘Blessed’

Actor and pop artist Kevin Quinn chatted about his new single “Blessed,” which is from his upcoming album “Real Me.”

‘Blessed’

On his new single “Blessed,” Quinn said, “Blessed was the first song that was written out of the bunch.”

“It was written a year before the other songs, so that was the first entry in the story. The rest of the album is reflective of songs that happened after blessed. It was a ‘good time’ song, and it is not too deep,” he elaborated.

It is a track of his forthcoming studio album “Real Me,” which will be released on January 19, 2024. “The album turned out really cool,” he admitted.

“For this project, picking songs that were reflective of my journey was important. What you hear on the final product is a cohesive story from top to bottom of that journey for me.”

The digital age

On being an artist in the digital age, Quinn said, “It feels great. If anything, it makes the project that much more accessible for the fans, which have been so supportive. The fans are always commenting on social media. I feel like my last EP is not reflective of the artist that I am now.”

Regarding his favorite motto to live by, he revealed, “It’s About Time.” “Life is too short to live like it’s going to be long,” he said. “It’s true though, at any moment, we can keel over and die tomorrow.”

“You need to live each day and each second like it’s your last. I’ve been trying to do that more,” Quinn added.

Taylor Swift is his dream female duet choice

Quinn listed Taylor Swift as his dream female duet choice in music. “If I had to choose someone, it would be Taylor Swift because she is on fire right now,” Quinn said.
